My parents and grandparents were small business owners so I guess you can say it runs in my family. No matter who my employer was or what position I held, I always had a side job that I owned and operated. It may have been something small, but I always had something that I could call my own.
I believe with my whole heart that everyone deserves to be loved. To meet couples, to actually see their love for one another, keeps my passion for weddings going strong. The grand exit is something else that keeps my passion alive. The couple's private last dance, then running out the doors, the smiling faces, the special wishes, the sigh of relief from the families that everything turned out great, the hugs we get when guests walk out the door, the friendships we made. Then going to bed later that night with a smile on my face knowing that I sent another couple off to their happily ever after.
"Michelle was incredible to work with for our wedding! She made everything so easy and stress-free with great recommendations for every vendor we could possibly need. She was always available for questions about whatever we needed and was willing to help with anything. The venue is so beautiful and the bridal suite was perfect for me and my bridal party to hang out in until wedding time. I always felt like a cherished client at The Steel Barn and would definitely want to hold other events there in the future. Overall, the venue was perfect for our wedding and made the entire day so beautiful and stress-free. I can not recommend The Steel Barn enough. It is a wonderful place for a vintage-themed, farmhouse-style wedding, or any other wedding type you can think of!" --Dustin & Elizabeth Hamby
