What inspired you to launch your own business?
For my own wedding, all I had to do was show up and get married, and that was because I'd hired and trusted in an all-star vendor team to bring our vision to life seamlessly. Post-wedding, I had to figure out a way for more couples to have access to that feeling of zen on their wedding day, and thus Alston Mayger Events was born.
What keeps you passionate about weddings?
For me, the passion is in the individuality that each wedding has. No two couples are alike. I always tell my clients that the best compliment you can receive about your wedding is that it was a complete reflection of you and your love story. I love diving deep with my couples to really hear about their history and figure out ways we can sew up a gorgeous celebration with that common thread of their history.
